Night Vision Cueing and Display

VSI has developed several Night Vision options to provide cueing symbology for night missions. NVCD expands the capability and effectiveness of JHMCS by providing the user with image intensified night vision merged with standard HMD symbology and Line‑of‑Sight (LOS) Tracking.

NVCD QuadEye™

NVCD QuadEye™ provides a 100⁰ x 40⁰ FOV & Debrief Camera. This NVCD system utilizes four 16mm image intensifier tubes to provide a lightweight 100° X 40° Field-Of-View (FOV) night vision display with standard HMD symbology. NVCD QuadEye™ is interchangeable with VSI’s JHMCS day module providing the same Line-of-Sight (LOS) targeting during night missions.

NVCD ANVIS

NVCD ANVIS inserts cueing symbology into standard 40⁰ FOV ANVIS-9/F4949 Night Vision Goggles (NVGs). VSI HMD users who already own ANVIS-9/F4949 goggles can easily modify their existing NVGs in less than one hour with a VSI kit. This mod adds head tracked night vision cueing & display capability with no modification to the HMD electronics or aircraft systems.
