NVCD/QuadEye™ & NVCD/ANVIS

Night Vision Cueing and Display

For nighttime mission success, VSI has built upon our experience with advanced Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems to develop Night Vision Cueing and Display (NVCD) systems, both NVCD/QuadEye™ and NVCD/ANVIS. NVCD expands the capability and effectiveness of our Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) by providing the user with image intensified night vision merged with standard Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) symbology and Line of Sight (LOS) Tracking. As JHMCS is a modular “day” system, the current display unit can be quickly exchanged with the NVCD/QuadEye™ or NVCD/ANVIS night vision display unit to support round-the-clock missions.

The NVCD/QuadEye™ display unit is fully modular providing a 40° x 40° night field-of-view (FOV) with symbology in standard configuration (2 tube), or can be easily expanded to 100° x 40° FOV (4 tube). NVCD/ANVIS provides the standard 40° x 40° night FOV with symbology utilizing the Warfighter's existing ANVIS NVGs.

NVCD/QuadEye™ & NVCD ANVIS features include:

  • Modular design interchangeable with JHMCS ROMA
  • 100° x 40° FOV - QuadEye™ – 40° x 40° FOV – Mini-QuadEye™ or ANVIS
  • Integrated display
  • Magnetic Tracker
  • Integrated Line of Sight (LOS) Cueing
  • Integrated Debrief Camera (QuadEye™)
  • Reduced Weight and Improved CG (QuadEye™)
