VSI awarded JHMCS contracts valued at more than $60 million
Vision Systems International, LLC (VSI), a leader in advanced Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) technology, today announced several new contracts with a total value of more than $60 million.
The Boeing Company awarded VSI a contract for the delivery of more than 300 additional Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems (JHMCS). VSI has supplied the JHMCS to Boeing since the program's inception in 1996; this award represents their eighth production contract.

VSI's Helmet Mounted Display System flies on Joint Strike Fighter
VA Helmet Mounted Display System (HMDS) made by Vision Systems International, LLC (VSI) recently flew for the first time on an F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. It was worn by Lockheed Martin's Jon Beesley, who piloted the advanced fighter.
The HMDS provides critical flight information to the pilot throughout the entire mission. In addition to standard HMD capabilities, such as extreme off-axis targeting and cueing offered on VSI's other HMDs, Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) and Display & Sight Helmet (DASH), this system fully utilizes the advanced avionics architecture of the F-35.

VSI’s Night Vision Cueing and Display Successfully Completes First Dual Seat Flight
The first dual seat flight of VSI’s Night Vision Cueing and Display (NVCD) was completed earlier this month in a demonstration at the Naval Air Warfare Center, China Lake, Calif. The NVCD provides the daytime advantages of VSI’s highly successful Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) for night missions.

VSI awarded contract for Night Vision Cueing and Display program
Vision Systems International, LLC (VSI), a leader in advanced Helmet Mounted Display (HMD) technology has been awarded a $3.3 million contract from the U.S. Navy for the development of the Night Vision Cueing and Display system (NVCD). The NVCD, based on a proprietary Night Vision system known as QuadEye, will dramatically expand the capability and effectiveness of VSI’s Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) by providing the war fighter with image intensified night vision integrated with standard HMD symbology and Line of Sight (LOS).
