In today’s battlespace the ability for enhanced situational
awareness and mission effectiveness is vital for a warfighter’s safety and
success. VSI’s Helmet Mounted Cueing Systems (HMCS) provide users with advanced,
next generation technologies for tactical aircraft in support of U.S. and
international military forces. Our state-of-the-art products are low cost,
low risk systems that show critical flight information to pilots throughout
their entire mission.
VSI’s offerings include our Joint Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS),
which allows today’s pilots to accurately direct onboard weapons and sensors against
enemy aircraft and ground targets without turning the aircraft or placing the target
in the Head Up Display (HUD). Paired with our Night Vision Cueing and Display
(NVCD)/QuadEye™ system, the JHMCS is designed to meet both day and night
mission requirements. We have
expanded our Helmet Mounted Display capabilities to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter,
offering the aircraft a compact, versatile, rugged display that provides a wide
field-of-view image to both eyes. Furthermore, our Targo™ is easily integrated into
any aircraft’s avionics system, while enhancing the HMD’s capabilities with navigation,
training, audio and video recording solutions.
